descr         "The Pan is a being anointed by Gaia. Secretive and sacred it has appeared from time to time to aid our ancestors.  It looks like a rams-headed minotaur, but it is clever as a fox.  We have only encountered the Pan in times of severe need, and only when called by a Dryad of great powers.  It is possible that there are more than one of these beings, but it is unlikely.  The Pan is wildness incarnate, and it is known to induce wild revelry in the hearts of human women.  If a Pan would reemerge from the mists of time, we hope that it will refrain from using this power on our kin and turn the wild upon the humans of Elysium."
