descr        "Harpies are screeching, bickering and annoying little pests.  Imagine an old hag of a harpy, grown larger and meaner than all other harpies.  Add to this the ability to cast some simple spells and you have a nightmare queen infesting peaceful sacred groves.  Why they are allowed to remain is a mystery to our order, but it is possible that the Hamadryads, with their infinite patience, see some kind of redeeming qualities in the airborne crones.  Fortunately the Harpy Queens are few and prefer to remain in their nests in the panoply of the Hamadryads."
