descr         "The giant arachnid grows to the size of a large dog. Its main habitats are dense and dark jungles. Just like its smaller counterparts, it has eight hairy and all too fast legs. Its favored prey consists of wild pigs and explorers. They hunt by encasing their victims in spider webs, which then slowly dissolve the corpse, creating a kind of a corpse broth.^ For some ungodly reason, some of the local populations in its native region have made a culinary specialty of half dissolved pigs or goats which they grab from the clutches of the spiders. Usually they lead the pig there and wait one day before retrieving it, mainly to make sure that they do not eat an explorer by mistake. According to reports, the webs will cure the meat so that after one day it is very tender and comes with quite a bit of sting to the tongue.^ The giant arachnid also has hundreds of beady eyes looking straight at you and strong mandibles ready to tear into your flesh. Why anyone would choose to tame such a vile creature is beyond comprehension.^ Some reports claim that they have observed pigs and spiders being led to the breeding pits of the Scourge Lord. Is he trying to create a pig-spider, the horror? There is no telling what such a creature may be capable of."
