Black Kobold Slayer Shaman monster 1369

newmonster "Black Kobold Slayer Shaman"
descr "The shaman is often the most prominent of all female kobolds and rules the everyday life in any kobold tribe. She is in charge of organizing the hatchery, gathering gems, colored cloth and other suitable accessories to adorn the hatchery and giving it the right color theme in order to produce the right sort of kobold. Even though kobolds do this out of instinct rather than as a planned act, it is believed that this practice originated sometime after the kobolds made their pact with the Dragons. The Shamans are also the one to call for dragons according to their ancient pact.^It is said that the shamans of the black kobolds skulk around in the shadows of other kobold hatcheries replacing their eggs with their own. In this they resemble the common cuckoo, who throws out the eggs of other birds and then just replaces them with their own. Now the shaman can neither throw them out, nor carry them with her, so it is assumed that those eggs are eaten.^This likeness to a bird may be a hint to the origin of the kobold. This likeness is further underlined by the uncanny resemblance between a plucked bird and a kobold."
