newmonster "Possessed Soulless Bandar"
descr "According to the lore of the White Ones your spirit will reincarnate a in new body when you die. However, monkey superstition claims that the spirits of the dead sometimes fail to reincarnate and linger on as Bhutas. While some Bhutas are driven by strong emotions and are able to manifest themselves, most are just shadows of their former selves. Unable to interact with the physical world unless they work through a medium, they possess corpses and make them walk on their own, just like a puppeteer makes his puppets twitch and dance. These possessed corpses are barely more aware than regular walking corpses, but the possessing Bhuta might have weak recollection of their former lives and might experience fear. Thus the Bhuta-possessed corpses might rout from battle. Bhuta-possessed corpses have also proven to be harder to banish with righteous prayers.^Bhutas possess the closest available corpse, and as Bhutas are the spirits of dead monkeys, they usually possess dead Vanaras or Bandar, as these are more readily available. However, human, hoburgher and even giant corpses cold possibly be possessed by the malign spirits."
