Wights are preserved corpses possessed by a spirit of the nether realms.  It is not always the spirit associated with the vessel in life that so inhabits it.  Be warned that it has a will of its own, although oft well suited to service.  The Airya Wight has great physical strength and its flesh is hardened by otherworldly energies, but its bony wings have lost its feathers and just flap uselessly behind the dried corpse."
