descr             "This floating being is highly intelligent and likes to make its lair in ancient forests where the power lines flow strongly or in deep mines where there is plenty of gold and gems.  The Beholder often surrounds itself with enslaved guards from races stupid enough not to flee it in time.  Other than floating over power lines, it is believed that the Beholder likes gold much like Dragons.  Like Dragons, it also enjoys eating both Deer and Dwarves when it gets hungry.  In practice it is probably mostly Dwarves, because it will get less hungry when it is floating over the power lines in an ancient forest."
