descr           "Somewhat larger than a Fire Ant but still smaller than a Giant Ant, the Myrmeke can be called an ant of medium size. These ants are peculiar in their love of gold and other shiny things. As their home they have a large hill full with tunnels that are used to store both food and gold. They produce some of their gold by mining it, but most of it is acquired through raiding parties where they grab everything that is shiny or yellow and drag it back to their hill. During midday the Myrmeke are sleeping deep in their tunnels and during this time it is often possible for a fast person to grab some gold from the tunnel openings and make a run for it."
