Abaddon is the lord of the Demonic Locusts and the prophets of El claim that he will lead them in the final days of the Apocalypse when Elysium is shattered and the faithful will be brought to the celestial plane.  Abaddon revels in torturing lesser demons that have not lived up to his standards, or just because they were unlucky that particular day."
